With my background in group exercise I lead many of the group classes and support members both within and at events outside of the Gym.  I am passionate about encouraging excellence in my staff and support their development by urging the updating and expansion of their knowledge. I provide encouragement to the health professionals that work from my Gym and  mentorship to students completing their qualifications, providing real-life experience and development. Living Life Younger!!

Richard Ellis

Health and fitness is a permanent passion of mine. I work with a spectrum of people who have achieved and are achieving fantastic results, which is hugely rewarding to me. I specialise in making fitness fun for everyone through Thump Boxing, Boot camps, and good old hard work one on one.   Making permanent change in people’s lives is why I am here and why I love what I do. I believe clients enjoy working with me because I am trustworthy, reliable and consistent. I think they see that I truly enjoy what I do.

Susan Baxter

Hi, I’m Susan! I believe that anyone can make you smile, but it takes that one special person to make you fit and happy. That is my passion: to get you active and having fun. I have been a group fitness instructor for nearly 7 years, a Zumba instructor in the last 2, and for my PhD am researching barriers that people face to regular exercise.  Through exercise, we can achieve so much: what we do today can improve and extend all of our tomorrows. I am blessed to have been nominated, and would be grateful for your further support

We can be and do anything we desire. Live life with passion and to the full, have no regrets, be honest and true to yourself. Make a difference in the lives of others. I work full time in the industry as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, assessor and coach, organizer of PT in the park and a regional rep for the Personal Trainers council.

Tracey Butler

I’m an award winning REPs registered personal trainer who has gone from fat and frumpy to fit and feeling fabulous and I facilitate similar transformations in others.  ”Tracey has been amazingly supportive and encouraging” – Cindy,   Exercise can be a chore and so I’m always changing it, shaking it up and keeping it interesting. ”Tracey’s sessions are always different, fun and challenging” – Jude.  My mission is for my clients to leave my studio feeling better than when they arrived.  ”Tracey has really shown me that I can do anything I put my mind to” – Roberta.

Bronwyn Adams

I come from a big back ground, the 125kg kind of background. The place where movement isn’t fun, where eating isn’t associated with thought, where hiding is easier than being seen.  Having that background although it is no longer my reality is what makes me different as a trainer. Knowing how it feels to be there, knowing what it takes to make the necessary changes and knowing with a passion it is worth it! So I do everything possible to inspire my clients to embrace life, fitness and health. To create a vision for their wellness and achieve it.

Richard McKinlay

Hi my name is Richard I have been a Personal Trainer for the past 5years, and have just recently opened up ABSolute Health & Fitness with my business partner Rachel van Gorp. I love exercise and enjoy passing this love on to others if it means they improve their health, and conquer tough challenges along the way. I have helped 100’s of people in the past 5 years. Now with ABSolute, I plan on helping a whole lot more. It’s an amazing experience seeing people’s life’s change and knowing I was a part of it.

Di Lauder

I’m a private studio based registered PT who firmly believes that inspiration on a mental level will always achieve a positive physical outcome.  I have expertise in rehabilitation and focus on functional training based on 14 years experience as an Occupational Therapist.  I’m a fan of green prescriptions and a run coach for “Get Up To 5” and “Saturday Runners” programmes.  I support “20 Weeks” and have won awards for my work with them.   Post earthquake, I organised The City Mission charity Fun Run and volunteer my services to “PT In The Park” to help ‘rebuild a fitter stronger Christchurch’.

Roxanne Flawn

I am an enthusiastic person with the ability to work well with people of all ages and backgrounds.  I have the dedication for ensuring that each and every client, customer or workmate I interact with receives my total focus and energy.  I try to consistently raise the bar through leading by example by “walking the talk”, paying attention to the details of technique in order to  motivate, encourage and support  the goals of others.  I am driven to succeed and revel in the reward of helping others to do the same.  I love my Job!
